R. Adriel Vasquez is a Texas native born in 1982. He has never had a southern accent, and he knows about twenty Spanish words, fourteen of which are numbers.

NEVER IN SEASON, ALWAYS ON TIME

Adriel is currently living in Amsterdam writing his debut novel entitled Miku Is Missing, a dark romantic melodrama and comedy about love, music, sex, death, and rebirth.

As Spirit Cycles, Adriel mixes field recordings with synth-produced noise and undisciplined rhythms. He uses the material in promotions for his projects on social channels.

He also takes pictures.

The intention for roadvas.me is to offer self-published writing and art, a workshop, and hold the author accountable as a creator.

On his blog FREEDOM FROM ESCAPE, Adriel writes about living less by the algorithm, and more by intuition, serendipity, and authenticity, cultivating the joys of living in-between the moment.
