NEVER IN SEASON, ALWAYS ON TIME

R. Adriel Vasquez is a Texas native born in 1982. He has never had a southern accent, & he knows about twenty Spanish words, fourteen of which are numbers.

Adriel is currently living in Amsterdam writing his debut novel entitled Miku Is Missing, a dark-romantic comedy about transcendent romance, the shadow side of enlightenment, and the clinical erasure of the human soul.

As Spirit Cycles, Adriel mixes field recordings with synth-produced noise and undisciplined rhythms.

BUILDING THE PRACTICE

No longer just technically a writer

After 10 years as a technical writer, Adriel has decided to follow his creative instincts and become an actual writer. The novel, the music, the photography, the blog—in gradual convergence from disparate events into an ecosystem of experiences; a resonance that echoes in stillness.
