R. Adriel Vasquez is a Texas native born in 1982. He has never had a southern accent, & he knows about twenty Spanish words, fourteen of which are numbers.

Adriel is currently living in Amsterdam writing his debut novel entitled Miku Is Missing, a body-horror and dark-romantic comedy about toxic and transcendent romance, and alchemical marriage.

As Spirit Cycles, Adriel mixes field recordings with synth-produced noise and undisciplined rhythms.

He also takes pictures.
