NEVER IN SEASON, ALWAYS ON TIME

R. Adriel Vasquez is a writer and editorial strategist from Texas with a decade of experience in technical communication for fintech, mainframe, and marketing; 2026 is his 20th year in Europe

Now pivoting to literary and speculative fiction, Adriel is living in Amsterdam writing his debut novel entitled Miku Is Missing, a dark-romance about synchronicity, archetypal tension, and the hidden threads and patterns that connect human lives.

He also takes pictures.

As Spirit Cycles, Adriel mixes field recordings with synth-produced noise and undisciplined rhythms.

BUILDING THE PRACTICE

Going fast while moving slow

Using ten years of experience as a technical writer, Adriel has decided to follow his creative instincts and build his practice as an author. His first novel, and this website, including the music and photography, and the newsletter (coming soon), are now in convergence. From disparate events into a resonance that echoes in stillness—an ecosystem of experiences.
